A Canadian previously identified by Global News as the narrator of an ISIS execution video has now admitted to his role in the terror group's propaganda.

Researchers Jeff Weyers and Camie Condon said they had a “high degree of confidence” that they had positively identified the execution site.

"From a legal perspective, we will be working on evidence to build the case where we can lay charges and prosecute," Goodale told reporters.

For four years, authorities have been trying to identify an ISIS member with a distinctly Canadian accent who was narrating the terrorist group’s English-language propaganda.

Mohammed allegedly told interrogators he was a 31-year-old Canadian citizen of Ethiopian origin and a former student at Toronto’s Seneca College.
