It was Dec. 30, 2022, when 37-year-old Devret Clarke, a former neighbour of Gars Kourjakian's, drove into the underground parkade behind him and shot him.

Devret Clarke spoke about what prompted him to shoot Gars Kourjakian as he was getting out of his vehicle with his four-year-old daughter more than two years ago.
