About 50 residents of Beaurivage, N.B. attended the hearing for a temporary injunction to shut down the Coastal Shell drying facility for the duration of ongoing lawsuits.

The plant has caused an uproar from residents because of the foul odour it creates throughout the community when it operates at night.
