The developer of a controversial project in West Kelowna has been sent back to the drawing board.

Four hundred and sixty people turned out to a public meeting at the Westbank Lions Community Centre in West Kelowna to speak out about a proposed development.

Blackmun Bay Village is being pitched as a 6.8 hectare development that would include nearly 340 townhomes and condo units and a 120 room luxury hotel, with towers as high as ten stories.
