THE CHRISTMAS TREE OF HOPE

The annual Children’s Fund Christmas Tree Of Hope was founded in 1976 to bring hope to kids and families struggling through the holiday season.

The campaign now serves as the primary fundraising mechanism for the Children’s Fund. Official “Christmas Tree Of Hope” trees are lit in Gore Park Hamilton, Aldershot and Burlington as symbols of our efforts during the Christmas season.

Other activities include our:

  • Annual Christmas Concert at Gore Park in Hamilton
  • “Blitz Day Radiothon” on AM900 CHML, Y108, and 953 Fresh Radio
  • “Operation Santa Claus Toy Truck” toy drive

Official Tree Lighting – December 1st, 2017 @ Gore Park

We’ve finally untangled all those lights, and we’re ready to light up Hamilton with hope and happiness!

The 41st Anniversary of the Christmas Tree of Hope Lighting returns to GORE PARK as we flip the switch and light up the park.

Bring your friends and family for an evening of Christmas cheer, and live music from Rose Garland.

The Christmas Tree of Hope Lighting, is in partnership with the City of Hamilton and the Downtown BIA.

Event starts at 5:00pm with the Tree Lighting at 6:00pm.

In addition to the lighting of the tree at 6 pm, the event will feature live music, tasty treats, mascots, and visits with Santa.

12 Hours of Christmas
