Princeton — Art comes in every form, and the same goes for the artist.

This is certainly the case for a 30-year-old Princeton woman with down syndrome.

Jessie McIvor says there’s only one reason why she draws: “it makes me happy.”

Jessie wanted to share her love with the world, but her mom was hesitant.

“I was kind of worried,” explains Nicki McIvor, “I didn’t want to set her up for failure, but I was wrong.”

“Jessie’s Arts” was launched on Facebook two weeks ago, and more than 2,200 people have become fans.

Jessie is getting requests from all around the world.

She doesn’t charge anyone, but if someone wants to make a donation, she uses the money to fuel her art addiction.
