TORONTO – It seems that even in Russia, motorists are unprepared for the first bouts of winter.
Drivers in Khabarovsk, Russia, near the western Chinese border, were surprised when heavy snow and ice made for slippery conditions on a local road.
Vehicles were unable to stop on the slight decline, and began to slide into cars that had already come to a stop below.
At one point, several people attempt to stop a truck from plowing into a car. They were unsuccessful.
