Kingston, Ont. Jewish community celebrates the beginning of Hanukkah

Hanukkah began on Sunday, and in Kingston, a celebration was held at Springer Market square to mark the occasion.

The Kingston Jewish Council invited residents of the city to “light up the night” with a traditional candle lighting of the menorah and food such as potato latkes along with hot chocolate.
