B.C. municipal election 2022: Golden results

Golden residents have cast their vote for a new mayor and council in the 2022 B.C. municipal election.

Ron Oszust was re-elected to his third term as mayor with 84 per cent of the vote.

Global News is projecting incumbent councillors Chris Hambruch and John Manuel have been re-elected and Kristi Cooper, Joy Guyot, West Routley and Dale Richard will join them.

Golden residents were also voting on a referendum on a proposed development of a new indoor aquatics centre to replace the ageing outdoor pool.
