B.C. municipal election 2022: Kaslo results

Global News is projecting incumbent Suzan Hewat has been re-elected as Kaslo’s mayor in the 2022 B.C. municipal election.

Hewat won the election securing more than 76 per cent of the vote, while her opponent Henry Van Mill received 23 per cent.

The Kaslo council will consist of incumbent councillors Molly Leathwood and Robert Land, who will be joined by newcomers Matthew Brown and Erika Bird.

Hewat was narrowly re-elected in 2018, defeating challenger Andrew Shadrack by just 13 votes.
