CALGARY- An Airdrie man is facing charges, after a man came forward with claims that he was sexually abused in a foster home.
The alleged offences happened between June 2003 and November 2008 in Calgary and Airdrie, while the child lived with the accused.
The alleged victim came forward to Calgary Police in August 2013.
39-year-old Rodney James Marcynuik of Airdrie now faces a number of charges including sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
It’s believed that 18 foster children, all boys, lived with Marcynuik and his wife between 2001 and 2010.
Police are now looking to speak with the boys who lived in the home.
