WOODSTOCK, N.B. – New Brunswick RCMP have charged a 19-year-old man with second-degree murder in the death of an 82-year-old woman.
Police say officers were called to a home on Route 555 in Richmond Corner near Woodstock Saturday morning.

They say the body of Sarah Kennedy was found inside the home.
The Mounties say they arrested Kyle Edmund Scott later that afternoon.
An autopsy will be conducted Monday to determine the exact cause of death.
The RCMP declined to say whether the two were known to each other, adding that the investigation is ongoing.
