Police say two people were taken to hospital after a collision in Brampton.
In a tweet Wednesday, Peel Regional police said the collision occurred in the Sandalwood Parkway East and Richvale Drive north area of the city, just before 10 a.m.
Officers said three vehicles, including a police cruiser, collided at the intersection, causing one vehicle to flip over.
According to police, one male was taken to a trauma centre with unknown injuries.
Another male was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Officers told Global News that the vehicle that rolled over ended up in the backyard of a home.
According to police, both males are in police custody.
Police said a man from the second passenger vehicle was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The officer was not injured as a result of the collision.
Police have closed the eastbound lanes of Sandalwood Parkway to Kennedy Road and the westbound lanes of Sandalwood Parkway to Royal Palm Drive.
Officers have also closed the northbound lanes of Richvale Drive at Mountplesant Drive and the southbound lanes at Cassander Crescent.
Members of the public are being asked to use alternate routes.
