Medal winner Clara Hughes donates $10,000 to Vancouver charity

VANCOUVER – Canadian speedskater Clara Hughes will give her Olympic bronze medal bonus to a Vancouver program that helps at-risk youth.

Hughes said she’ll give $10,000 to the Take A Hike Foundation that works with troubled youth.

Hughes finished third in the 5,000-metre race Wednesday, winning her sixth medal in both Winter and Summer Games.
