Two people have been rushed to hospital, with one in serious condition, following a crash earlier this morning.
A truck crossed the centre line on Highway 18 near Lake Cowichan, colliding head-on with a pickup truck.

It happened around 6 a.m. Two air ambulances were dispatched and the drivers of both vehicles have been transported to hospital.
The driver of the eastbound pickup truck is in very serious condition in hospital.
