TORONTO — Jack Osbourne and his wife Lisa revealed Friday morning they lost their baby boy.
Lisa, 26, was in her second trimester.
“I have been dreading this announcement,” she wrote on her blog.
“Having a late term miscarriage is by far the hardest thing either of us have ever had to go through. We appreciate all of your prayers and ask for privacy and respect during this time. It’s important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life’s toughest moments. We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives.”
Lisa later tweeted: “Cuddling my amazing, sweet hubby and shutting my eyes. Thank you all for the love and support. It means the world.”
Osbourne, the 27-year-old son of musician Ozzy Osbourne and The Talk co-host Sharon Osbourne, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis last year. He is set to compete on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.
The couple, who married in October, has a 16-month daughter named Pearl Clementine.
