EDMONTON – Edmonton police have issued a warning about a 39-year-old sexual offender who was recently released from prison.
Andrew Lyle Carrigan recently served a sentence for possession of child pornography, sexual interference, breach of probation and possession of stolen property over $5,000.
Police consider him a violent sexual offender who is a particular danger to girls under 16.
Carrigan is expected to live in Edmonton and is expected to visit other communities in the area.
He is under a 10-year prohibition order that places several conditions on him, though police did not release what those conditions were.
Carrigan is 5-10, 200 lbs., with blue eyes and brown hair.
