CALGARY – The Calgary Flames have called a news conference for 10 am Thursday morning, amid reports Brian Burke may be joining the team’s front office.
The team says president and CEO Ken King will be on hand to make an announcement.

When reached Wednesday night by The Canadian Press, King declined comment.
Messages left with Burke were not returned.
Burke was fired as president and general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs in January.
