The PNE isn’t just about rides and food, carnival-goers of all ages can connect with some adorable farm animals at the Big Red Barn.
The Agriculture at the PNE centre showcases B.C. farm industries, has cute furry friends to pet and educational components as well.
Kids can learn how to milk a cow, see how chickens hatch and watch rabbits race.
The 4-H festival is held from Aug. 17 to 20 and hosts competitions in beef, dairy, dog, llama, goat, poultry, swine, sheep, rabbit, horse sewing, crafts and photography.
