2 injured after car leaves highway near Young’s Cove, N.B.

One person is dead and another is in hospital after a crash just outside of Winnipeg. Global News

OROMOCTO, N.B. – Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning near Young’s Cove, N.B. that sent two men to hospital.

The crash happened when a half-ton truck lost control, crossed into the centre median of the TransCanada highway and landed on its roof.

A 20-year-old man and a man in his 40’s, both from Grand Falls, were taken to a Fredericton hospital with undetermined injuries.

The crash closed the westbound lanes of the highway for several hours. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
