SICAMOUS, BC — Sicamous RCMP are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian.
A police officer on patrol found the victim laying on Main Street in downtown Sicamous at around 2:30 this morning.

The 49-year-old Sicamous man was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The man’s identity has not been released as police continue to contact next of kin.
RCMP say they believe the victim may have been drinking at a local residence before being struck.
They also believe the driver of the vehicle that struck the man may have also been impaired.
