YORKTON, Sask. – RCMP have apprehended an armed fugitive after an extensive investigation culminated in a foot chase through the Fishing Lake First Nation on Monday.
Twenty-three-year-old Joseph Wilfred Desjarlais of Fishing Lake First Nation was apprehended.
He has been charged with break and enter in the Wandering Moose in Invermay, break and enter into the Coop in Rama, break and enter into the General Store in Sheho, three counts of wearing a disguise while committing an offence, one count of possessing a stolen vehicle and one count of unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle.
Desjarlais has been remanded into custody on all charges.
