Emergency crews were on scene at a travel trailer fire in Penticton on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire happened in a backyard that bordered an alley between Timmins and Moose Jaw streets.
Neighbours heard what sounded like an explosion and came outside to see flames coming from the trailer.
It was beginning to reach nearby fences when emergency responders arrived.
According to the Penticton Fire Department, the trailer was occupied when the fire started and that a person sustained minor injuries in the backyard incident.
The trailer was destroyed in the fire.
The fire’s cause is under investigation, but the fire department says the blaze doesn’t look to be suspicious.
