2 men injured in crash north of Calgary

Two people were sent to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Rocky View County on Saturday.

Emergency crews responded to the collision between a car, pickup truck towing a trailer and tree at Symons Valley Road N.W. and Big Hill Springs Road after 8:30 a.m., according to STARS Air Ambulance and EMS.

STARS flew a 35-year-old man to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary in serious but stable condition.

EMS said a second person, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital via ambulance in non-life-threatening condition.
