Saskatoon school divisions are reporting cases of COVID-19 in three schools.
On Wednesday, the Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools (GSCS) said a case of COVID-19 was diagnosed in an individual at St. Joseph High School.
The school division says the individual was in attendance while they were communicable at the beginning of last week.
“We are working with public health to ensure necessary measures are in place to protect all students,” said GSCS in a press release.
Later on Wednesday, GSCS said the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed it of a positive COVID-19 case at E.D. Feehan Catholic High School.
“Risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact remains low. (E.D. Feehan) classes will continue as scheduled,” read another GSCS statement.
“With the increase in positive cases in our province in recent days — and particularly in Saskatoon — it is important we all remain vigilant to follow health measures in place to decrease the risk of COVID-19 entering schools.”

Regina Catholic Schools Division reports a case
And on Thursday, the Regina Catholic School Division said there was a positive COVID-19 case in an individual at St. Kateri Tekakwitha School in Regina.
“We are working with public health to inform parents and caregivers, and the SHA is doing contact tracing. To our understanding, the risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact remains low,” said the RCSD in a press release.

New case in Saskatoon Public School Division
The Saskatoon Public School Division also reported a case of COVID-19.
The case is at W.P. Bate Community School, announced the school division Wednesday.
In a letter obtained by Global News that was sent out to parents, principal Stacey Salter said families in the impacted classes have been notified.
The school is working with public health to begin contact tracing.
