Heavy rainfall causes massive flooding on Mississauga street

TORONTO – Record breaking rainfall turned a Mississauga street into a raging river Monday evening.

A video showing flood water flowing down a residential neighbourhood was posted on Youtube and shows what appears to be a child in the murky water.

It’s unclear whether the child was swept away or jumped in voluntarily.

The footage was reportedly recorded near Dixie Road and Dundas Street, an area just west of Toronto.
