One pedestrian was killed and another seriously injured in separate collisions in Surrey on Monday.
Surrey RCMP said a woman was killed after begin struck in the 19200 block of 80th Avenue Monday afternoon.
It said road closures were in effect while collision analysts investigated.
Earlier Monday, another pedestrian was sent to hospital after being struck in the intersection of 188th Street and 56B Avenue around 7:30 a.m.
According to police, a female pedestrian was taken to hospital in serious condition. Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is co-operating with officers.
The crash site remains closed as police investigate.
