B.C. Children’s youngest leukemia patient faces the fight of her life

Molly Campbell was diagnosed with leukemia in December 2010 when she was less than one-month-old — the youngest leukemia patient ever at BC Children’s Hospital.

But, she fought back and after undergoing chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, the cancer went into remission.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

However, Molly relapsed one year later.

The Campbell family has relocated from Victoria to Memphis so Molly can undergo experimental treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

They were planning to be there for three months, but now it has been six long months.

On Friday morning, Molly started having uncontrollable seizures.
