HALIFAX — Thousands gathered on Tuesday to celebrate the Memorial Cup victory by the Halifax Mooseheads.
Fans feted the minor hockey champs who defeated the Portland Winterhawks 6 to 4 on Sunday in Saskatoon.
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team had just six losses and 53 wins this season.
