TORONTO –“Of the seventeen some odd years I’ve been alive, twelve of them have been spent doing schooling.”
These are the words Seth Rogen wrote in his yearbook at Point Grey Secondary School in Vancouver.
“If you do what you want,” he continued, “instead of what other people tell you to do, things will probably work out better, and if they don’t you’ll at least know that you tried.”
At Kitsilano Secondary School in Vancouver, Ryan Reynolds wrote in his yearbook: “It’s only been two years for me but I wish it were longer.”

Neither young man could have known for sure, at the time, they would become rich and famous — which is surely a source of hope for thousands of teens currently counting down to the end of the school year.
