3 people sustain minor injuries, woman charged after stolen Audi involved in crash west of Lambeth

Three individuals sustained minor injuries and a woman is facing criminal charges in a two-vehicle crash that happened west of Lambeth on Thursday afternoon, according to London police.

Emergency services responded to the collision on Longwoods Road near Murray Road around 3:20 p.m.

A witness told Global News Radio 980 CFPL that they were passed by a silver Audi on Longwoods Road that was driving erratically at high speeds and that they called 911 before the crash happened.

A few minutes later, the witness arrived at the crash site.

Friday afternoon, London police reported that the silver Audi had been stolen from a residence on Prince Albert Street in Delaware roughly 20 minutes before the crash.

Police say the two occupants of the other vehicle had to be extricated. They and the woman driving the stolen Audi suffered minor injuries.

A London woman, 38, has been charged with dangerous operation, impaired operation, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, and theft of motor vehicle.

She’s due in court June 11.
