Waterloo Regional Police say a 20-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital on Monday after a single-vehicle collision in Woolwich.
Police said an SUV veered off Shantz Station Road and fell into the ditch at around 10 a.m.
The victim’s injuries were considered serious, but non-life-threatening. Charges are pending against the driver, according to a news release.
Shantz Station Road between Victoria Street and Kossuth Road was closed for several hours for the investigation by the Traffic Services Unit.
Drivers were asked to look for alternative routes for their commute.
