Guelph police are warning residents after three recent suspicious incidents that involved a man with the same description.
In two cases, police said a male driver attempted to convince a person to get into his car.

The first was reported by a woman on Saturday night on the University of Guelph campus, and the second was reported by a man on Wednesday afternoon in the area of Willow Road and Highway 6.
The third incident happened on Thursday at 5 p.m. when a teenage girl reported she was being followed on foot in the area of Goodwin Drive.

Police said it’s not known if all three are related, but in each case the person was described as a 30 to 50-year-old East Indian man with an average build, black short hair and some facial hair.
Police said the car at the university was described as an older-model, four-door vehicle, possibly a red or burgundy Honda Civic.
An older, white Dodge Caravan was reported to be the vehicle in the second incident.

Police are reminding residents involved in a similar situation to walk away, not talk with the person and call police once they are in a safe place.
