Masked, armed man robs McCreary business say RCMP

Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a masked suspect who robbed a business in McCreary with a firearm.

The robbery took place Sunday around 8:15 p.m., at a business on Mountain View Drive that had just closed for the night.

RCMP said a man knocked on the back door, and when an employee answered, the man – carrying a long gun – and demanded money. He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect left in a four-door, dark-coloured car. He’s described as around 25 years old, 6’0″ and 160 lbs. Police said he was wearing a camouflage ski mask, camouflage jacket, black gloves, and carrying a backpack.
