Police seize $12,000 worth of suspected fentanyl in Cambridge drug raid

Waterloo Regional Police arrested two people and seized more than $12,000 worth of suspected fentanyl in a drug raid in Cambridge on Thursday.

Police say they executed a warrant at an address on Winston Boulevard in the Hespeler area.

Inside the residence, police say they found $12,000 worth of suspected fentanyl and approximately $2,000 worth of suspected methamphetamine as well as $7,000 in cash.

A man and woman, both 23 and from Cambridge, were arrested and charged with several offences including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
