Slick roads leave school buses canceled in Waterloo region, schools open

School buses in Waterloo region have been cancelled for Wednesday however schools will be open, Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region announced.

All Catholic and public schools will be open on Wednesday as will extended daycare programs.

At the University of Waterloo, things will return to normal on Wednesday.

The school said on Twitter, “all scheduled classes, exams and activities will proceed as usual.”

Classes will also be in session at Wilfrid Laurier University for all locations including Waterloo, Brantford, Kitchener and Toronto.

Students at Conestoga College may or may not be pleased to hear that they will also be back in class on Wednesday.

In Cambridge, the Medieval Festival at Allan Reuter has been cancelled but it is business as usual otherwise.
