Hamilton Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly tried to steal a pick-up truck.

They say on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, a man tried to steal a truck that was parked in a lot on Hamilton Street North in Waterdown.

Police say the suspect “punched” the front driver’s side door lock and ignition; however, he was unable to get the vehicle started.

Police believe he was operating an older model brown/gold Honda CRV during the incident.
