Road closures in Locke Street area this weekend

Motorists should expect closures on Locke Street this weekend.

To safely complete sewer lining work in preparation for reconstruction on Locke Street later this year, the city of Hamilton will close roads in the area.

They include Aberdeen eastbound at Locke Street, Undermount Avenue in both directions at Aberdeen, and Locke Street in both directions from Aberdeen Avenue to Homewood.

Businesses in the area will remain open during the closures, which will begin on Saturday and are expected to wrap up before rush hour on Monday.
