Police seized over half a kilo of meth, along with heroin and fentanyl, and arrested two people after a drug bust in Saskatoon’s Buena Vista neighbourhood last week.
The charges stem from an investigation by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU).
A 37-year-old woman was arrested at a home in the 400-block of 4th Street East on Jan. 25, which was also searched by officers.
A 41-year-old man was taken into custody during a traffic stop.
CFSEU members said they seized 547.5 grams of methamphetamine, 224.75 grams of heroin, 40.1 grams of fentanyl, nearly $6,000 cash as well as drug-packaging materials.
Both accused are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
The unnamed man is also facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking heroin and meth, and two counts of weapon possession.
CFSEU is an investigative body comprised of personnel from partner police agencies with a mandate of dismantling organized crime enterprises.
