Saskatoon Christian School latest stop for SkyTracker weather school

WATCH ABOVE: Grade 7 students at Saskatoon Christian School became SkyTrackers with the help of meteorologist Peter Quinlan – Jan 22, 2019

The Grade 7 class at Saskatoon Christian School was Global’s Saskatoon’s latest group of SkyTrackers and they dug really deep into a complex weather phenomenon.

The class excelled at understanding how El Niño is affecting the overall global weather pattern and has been helping give Saskatoon a warmer and drier than normal winter.

One student even knew the Spanish translation of El Niño’s sister, La Niña. Find out what it means in the video above.
