REGINA – City of Regina officials are getting ready for a heavier than normal spring runoff due to the heavy snowfall the city received over winter.
Of particular concern are the Crescent Heights and York neighbourhoods, where city crews are expected to start sandbagging later this week.

The city’s action plan includes clearing snow and ice on arterial streets, clearing curbside drains and clearing drainage ditches.
Regina also has a plan in place for ice breakup at Wascana Creek crossings, temporary pumping and temporary dikes if needed.
