CALGARY- The Calgary Flames have made another major trade, just days after dealing away franchise player Jarome Iginla.
Defenceman Jay Bouwmeester was dealt to St. Louis on Monday evening, in exchange for a first round pick, defenceman Mark Cundari and goaltender Reto Berra.

If the Blues do not qualify for the playoffs this year, the Flames will also receive the Blues’ fourth round draft selection and the first round pick will be deferred to the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
Bouwmeester has been with the Flames since 2009, when he was traded to the Flames from the Florida Panthers.
