REGINA – Regina police are investigating the city’s third homicide of the year after responding to a house in north-west Regina early Friday morning.
Shortly before 6:00 a.m. officers responded to a 911 call about an injured man inside a home on the 400 block of Wascana St. When they arrived they found a man dead inside the home.

The Coroner, Major Crimes and Forensic Identification members were all called to the scene, which has now been secured as part of the murder investigation.
Investigators believe they know the identity of the victim, but are not releasing his name until family can be notified.
There have been no arrests made in connection with the case, and investigators are urging anyone with information about what happened to contact police at 777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
