CALGARY- Police are investigating after a woman died after being found lying in a street in the northeast on Friday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the 200 block of Templegreen Drive around 7:30 a.m., and found a woman believed to be in her 20’s lying in the street. She was rushed to hospital, where she later died.

The Homicide Unit was then called in.
One man has since been taken into custody in connection with the case.
Police are asking anyone who may have heard or seen anything in the area early on Friday morning, to call them or Crime Stoppers.
