RCMP found human remains just outside of Biggar, Sask. on July 24.
RCMP received reports that possible human remains were found in a rural area and with assistance and equipment from the local fire department, the remains were recovered.

A forensic anthropologist examined them and confirmed that the partial remains located are human.
Investigators are working to identify the remains. Biggar RCMP continue to investigate with assistance from RCMP Historical Crimes Unit North and the coroner’s office.
