Edmonton – The Edmonton Police Service’s Drug and Gang Enforcement Unit (EDGE) has charged two people after seizing drugs, guns, cash and a car at two homes in north Edmonton.
The unit executed two search warrants on Friday, March 22 on two homes at 165 Avenue and 56 Street, and at 113 Avenue and 122 Street.

Amoung the items seized was 5.5 kilograms of cocaine worth around $495,000 on the street, a handgun, two semi-automatic rifles, a gun silencer, $25,000 in cash, and a 2009 BMW.
30-year-old Roger Teixeira has been charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a loaded handgun, two counts of careless storage of a fire arm, and two counts of possession of a firearm.

27-year-old Daniel Teixeira has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, careless storage of a firearm, and possession of a firearm.
They were arrested and charged on Thursday, March 21.
