Hamilton police have made its 32nd arrest this year for driving while impaired by drugs.

Last year, Hamilton police saw only 29 arrests for the entire year in both 2016 and 2017.

Around 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 19,  police identified a Mitsubishi SUV, being driven erratically westbound on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway.

The vehicle was stopped and police determined the driver was wanted on several warrants.

Police say the man exhibited signs of being impaired by drugs and when officers searched the vehicle, heroin and cocaine were located inside.

Gordan Cenic, 42, from Hamilton is now facing several charges including: drug possession, impaired operation, and driving while disqualified.
