“Pedestrian access will be maintained, and motorists should use alternate routes and allow additional travel time to get to their destinations,” said the city in a statement sent to media Friday.
Winnipeggers can find updates to street closures on the city’s website.
The city originally stated the closures would affect King Street, but sent out a correction Friday afternoon.
