Man handing out freezies ID’d, ‘nothing to indicate criminal intent’: London police

A day after a man was seen handing out freezies to children at Aberdeen Public School, London police report the man has been identified.

Police say the man “was spoken with and there is nothing to indicate any criminal intent on his part.”

The investigation is now closed but parents are guardians are still being urged to talk to their children about personal safety.

On Tuesday, police were contacted just before noon after the man gave out freezies. The Wednesday before that, police were called to a similar incident involving a man giving candy to children at the Grey Street school.

Police have not confirmed whether or not the same man was involved.
