Ottawa police are investigating a shooting late Thursday night in the city’s south end that left a 16-year-old boy injured.

Police responded to reports of gunshots at the 100-block of Forestglade Crescent — west of the Trans-Canada Highway, just north of Hunt Club Road — at approximately 10:40 p.m., according to an email statement from the Ottawa Police Service.

The statement said the teenage boy suffered minor injuries but did not provide further details about his condition.
